Healing emotional trauma

Healing Emotional Trauma using a gentle approach and non toxic medicines.

What is emotional trauma?

Emotional trauma is the experience of painful emotions such as anger, shock, frustration, anxiety, hurt, grief, fear, despair, blame, guilt etc. Acute emotional trauma can happen very suddenly, for example after an accident or death. Chronic emotional trauma may be experienced if emotions have been ongoing for some time, for example in the case of - long term physical or mental abuse. 


Neurodivergent individuals are more likely to experience trauma due to the sensory overwhelm, social exclusion or bullying or being misunderstood or punished for being different. 

 Why do I have these symptoms?

  

Our feeling, thinking emotions and beliefs are not separate, they are all entangled together to create an emotional/mental trauma. The beliefs and the ways of thinking about ourselves and the world make us feel bad. Whatever we do, when triggered, these emotional states keep coming back. 


The physical body is the main processor of all emotional memories and traumas. Each particularly painful emotion stores itself in specific body tissues, organs and systems. 


I have found in my practice and personal experience with chronic emotional trauma that often these emotional patterns start in childhood as unmet needs or mistreatment experienced as a child.  Early trauma can affect brain development (attachment, stress response and can amplify or complicate existing neurodivergent traits. 


Some trauma responses can look like neurodivergent traits and vice versa. 

How Homeopathy, Reiki, Crystal healing and Coaching help


Alternative non verbal therapies like Reiki and Crystal Healing focus on sensations, touch, music and senses and help to gently free feelings and memories stored in the body, these therapies engage the limbic brain and brain stem - (the limbic brain is where emotional memories are stored).  


Primitive instinctive brain (brain stem) is where our most basic survival mechanisms and responses to trauma originate. 


Talk therapies including Homeopathy and Coaching can help with the feelings associated with ‘Why Me?’ message. This is the Neo cortex part of the brain – where we understand what has happened – through talking and thinking. 


For complete healing to take place all areas of the brain must be activated.
